Therapy for Overthinkers and Busy Inner Worlds
If your brain feels like it’s always running in the background—strategizing, analyzing, looping, and never fully powering down—you’re not broken. I work with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, and OCD, especially those who spend a lot of time in their inner world and feel exhausted by the mental load of everyday life.
Many of the people I support are thoughtful, imaginative, and systems-oriented thinkers who often feel overwhelmed by expectations or the pressure to keep up. They may spend a lot of time analyzing situations, trying to get things “just right,” or holding themselves to incredibly high standards. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, understand how your mind works, and learn how to work with your brain rather than constantly fighting against it.
A lot of my clients carry invisible struggles that others don’t always see—the constant mental effort, emotional labor, and pressure to “push through” no matter how depleted they feel. Many are used to masking, playing a role, or minimizing their own needs just to get through the day. Over time, this can lead to burnout, anxiety, self-doubt, and a harsh inner critic that never seems to quiet down.
My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to be our full selves—without guilt, shame, or apology. I’m currently training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a model that helps us understand the different parts of you as meaningful and protective rather than broken or “wrong.” Instead of trying to eliminate parts of you, we work to understand them, rebalance your internal system, and build more self-trust and flexibility. I also integrate mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to support emotional regulation, boundaries, and sustainable change.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you or forcing productivity—it’s about helping you unmask, step out of survival mode, and create a life that actually feels livable. If you’re tired of feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking, burnout, or self-doubt, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we’ll work toward a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and aligned with who you truly are.
Interests & Hobbies
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in creative and immersive hobbies. I’m a fan of video games—from cozy games to more competitive ones—and I appreciate the storytelling, strategy, and community that gaming can create. I also enjoy exploring imaginative worlds through media, relaxing with creative outlets, and spending time recharging so I can show up fully for the people I work with.
